Texas Hold'em Tournament
THE CERTIFICATES THAT YOU BRING IN WHEN YOU REGISTER MUST HAVE YOUR NAME ONLY ON THEM. PLEASE BRING YOUR ID WITH YOU TO REGISTER. You can bring in up to 16 certificates with your name on them. They must be during the qualification period. Certificates from previous tourneys will not be honored. The maximum in chips that you can earn is $10,000. You cannot carry over certificates to the next tournament. YOU MUST BRING YOUR WINNING CERTIFICATES in on tournament day. PSD is not tracking your certificates and you will only receive chips based on how many certs you bring in. DO NOT LOSE THEM. You are encouraged to pre-register before tournament for an additional $500. It is your responsibility to know if you have qualified. We send out an email about 10 days prior to the tournament. You can join our newsletter by visiting our home page and following the link on the left hand column. You do not have to pre-register to play, however your doing so helps us make sure we have enough dealers at the event. You get an extra $500 chips for helping us out. If you are maxed out at $10k...you will start with $10,500. Tournament Rules for 2011/2012 To qualify, you must have earned at least 1 certificate at one or our nightly games. The certificate must have been awarded during the qualification period. Certificates are given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. You can also get a certificate for getting quads or better during a game. If you have quads or better and want the certificate, you must still be in the hand and you must show. It does not have to be the winning hand. Your first certificate is worth $2500 in chips and each additional certificate is worth and extra $500 in chips with a maximum of $10k in starting chips. Should there be any questions or disagreements regarding rules or method of play, Poker Starz of Denver will have the final say. Decisions of Poker Starz of Denver shall be final.
